Our Club
Harvey Bell Award
Harvey Bell was one of the most determined founders of the York Region Amateur Radio Club. He was largely responsible for keeping the club alive in its early startup years.
After his sudden death in 1970, the club established a merit award in his memory.
The award is granted to a club member who has made significant contributions to amateur radio and/or to our club.
Like the Oscars in the movie industry, it is given to recognize outstanding achievement. It is our club's highest honour to receive the award.
The following have earned this honour, and the enduring gratitude and respect of the York Region Amateur Radio Club.
